TITIRANGI.
| As a resident of Titirangi and one who appreciates the work of the local . beautifying society, I note with rfcgret the epoilation of tlieir efforts. Not only are native shrubs and trees taken but flowering plants grown on the roadsida by residents at considerable trouble are wantonly removed. The society will, I am sure, appreciate any effort made by re>*idents to stop those who seemingly do not realise the effort that is being made to help our district become still more beautiful. RESIDENT.
