DUTY DONE.

" OLD COMRADES." Germany Esteems British Tommy. FLAG HAULED DOWN. (United Service.) (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, September 29. The ''Daily News" correspondent at Wiesbaden states that a German baud played "Old Comrades" as the British flag was hauled down for the last time at Eonigstein barracks before the departure of the rearguard of the Leicestershires. The town was soon bedecked in the German Republican colours, but there was no other sign of rejoicing. Some townspeople openly expressed regret at the departure of the British troops.
