STUDENTS' "GODMOTHER."
FRIEND OF NEW ZEALANDERS. (United Sorrier.) LONDON, September 2i)._ Lady Frances Ryder, described as the fairr godmother to thousands of friendless'undergraduates and students from all parts of the Empire, has taken laro-er offices in the New Zealand 3uildinfill the Strand, says the "Dispatch." She assisted to a great extent in the entertainment of overseas soldiers during the war. Since then Lady Frances has organised hospitality for students from the Dominions, whom she ha* enabled to sue English home life, especially at Christmas time, by introductions Ao a large circle of hostesses throughout Britain.
