ARCOS RETURN.
RUSSIAN TRADE. Indication Of Trend Of Britain And Soviet Negotiations. NEW LONDON QUARTERS. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) LONDON, September 29. A large Union Jack fluttering in the breeze over Bush House, London, yesterday morning seemed to be thoroughly innocent. Its peculiar significance lies in the proceedings below where a lively, but non-bellicose Russian revolution was occurring. It was Areos, the great Russian trading concern, once more invading London. The company has taken six floors in the new wing of Bush House adjoining Australia House. Dozens of members of the staff yesterday were carrying papers and office articles along the corridors and into rooms. Others were seen taking in five tons of elaborate furniture. Arcos is returning presumably with the proposed resumption of diplomatic relations between Britain and Russia. An elaborate indicator board on the ground floor shows that the company will occupy 22 departments, involving all the Arcos interests. These are to be centralised instead of being spread out; over the city as was the case in tJie past.
