« .— SCHOOLBOYS' STEEPLECHASE. VBRMOXT STREET JUNIORS. Junior pupils at the Vermont Street Catholic 'Schorol held their thirteenth annual road race on Saturday, over 50 boys competing. A fast pace Tvas set throughout, and Kennedy, the winner, showed good form. He also made fastest time. Wind, who led nearly all the way, also ran well. Blair filled the third place. The Herbert Smith Trust Cup was presented to the winner by Archdeacon Holbrook. Kennedy also received a.medal for fastest time. The school's senior race will be run on Thursday.
