GOLF CHAMPIONS.
N,Z. OPEN TITLE. MORPETH MAKES RECOVERY. FINE ROUND BY MOSS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. : The weather to-day for the New Zea.land golf championship is quite a contrast to that experienced yesterday. The wind has ceased, and yesterday's rain has freshened up the course and greens. Under the improved conditions the scores returned naturally show an improvement on those of yesterday. The conditions are improving every minute, and it will cause no surprise if a record score is made. Moss' 73 may improve his chances in the open, and this score was the best of the tournament Sloan Morpeth came in with a 71. To-day's scores and aggregates are: —
