RIFLE SHOOTING.
» PAEROA MINIATURE CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, Friday. The members of the Paeroa Defence Miniature Rifle Club met in their weekly shoot In a handicap competition for a trophy donated by the Paeroa Hardware Co. Shooting was again of a high standard. Although another big reduction wus made in the handicaps, no less than seven members gained the limit, and shot off, with the handicaps reduced by the usual procedure. Captain H. Sinimonds was in fine form, carrying off the trophy, nnd registering three consecutive possibles off the rifie during the. evening. E. Mead was second. M. Charlesworth showed considerable Improvement with a good possible. Scores:— Capt. H. Siinmonds, 10O—handicap scratch —total 100; M. Charlesworth, 100—5—100; E. Turton sen., 110—2—100; B.
