WAIPA ASSOCIATION.
TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. At the annual meeting of the Waipa Cricket. Association last evening, the following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. W. G. Park Mr. R. AV. N. Lord; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. J. Spiers, H. de L. Peake and C. W. Ricklt; secretary, Mr. EC. T. Haselden; treasurer, Mr. D. G. McCallum; management committee, Messrs. R. Lord, jun., C. Tarr. W. B. D. Ball. A. E. McDonald, A. ,T. Shepherd and W. M, Winter; delegates to South Auckland Association, Messrs. A. J. Shepherd and H. T. Haselden. A long discussion ensued as to whether there should be one or three selectors. Finally three were decided upon. Mr. Shepherd was elected, with power to add.
