DEATH FROM STRANGULATION.

The inquest was continued yesterdayafternoon by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, into the death of two children, William Arran and Timothy Bryan Cubis. Evidence was given by Dr. Cumruing'that death in each case was due to strangulation. 3lrs. Eileen Paice stated that on Tuesday, August 6, she saw Mrs. Cubic outside her house calling out, "My boys, my boys, my beautiful twins." She went over and took Mrs. Cubis inside.; Witness found both the children lying on the bed. Each had a stocking tied round its neck. Witness at once untied the stockings. She then telephoned for a dpctor and for the police. By Butler witness knew Mrs. 1 Cubis was passionately fond of her children. Detective-Sergeant Kelly stated when he arrived on the scene Mrs. Cubis was crying out, "Give me back my babies. Oh, my beautiful brown-eyed babies." She was in a bad mental state, and was not now fit to give evidence. ; The coroner touiul that death was due to strahgulation by the mother, while she was insane. ■
