SPRINGDALE CLUB.

TE AROHA, Wednesday. An improvement in the standard of play was reported at the annual meeting of the Springdale Tennis Club. It was decided to open the season on October 5. The following officers were elected :— Patron, Mr. F. W. Walters; president, Mr. E. Joliansen; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. A. Fisk, C. Malcolm, H. Wells, W. S. Goos-. man, A. Hunger and D.
