ARCH OF REMEMBRANCE.
JELLICOE PARK MEMORIAL. ARRANGEMENTS FOR CEREMONY. Arrangements for the official opening of the Arch of. Remembrance as a war memorial at Jellicoe Park, Onehunga, on Sunday, October 20, were finalised last night. The Hon. T. M. Wilford, Minister of Justice and Defence, will repres <ii" the Government, and other speakers will be Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., and the Mayor of Onehunga, Mr. E, Morton. All of the Sunday school children will assemble at the Foresters' Theatre at 3 p.m. and march up Queen Street, through Trafalgar Street and Quadrant Road to Jellicoe Park, where they will be given an| allotted space to lead the singing, for which hymn sheets will be provided. The children's procession will be supported by a contingent of the 21st Field Battery and the Onehunga Cadets under the command of Lieutenant De Wolfe, and they will be led to the park by the Auckland Military Band and the Onehunga Citizens' Band. As tha memorial is at the entrance to Jellicoe Park from Quadrant Road, the latter will be closed to vehicular traffic during the ceremony.
