Commander Burney said that tlie suggestion that KIOO was already obsolete was at variance with the statement of Dr. Eckener, commander of the Graf Zeppelin, to the effect that he proposed constructing a new airship to approximately the same shape and also to incorporate the passenger quarters with the hull. The Air Ministry states that an assessment of the performances of the 111 00 and ElOl necessarily awaits completion of the home flying trials.
