Mr. F. Lye, M.P., has been informed by the Minister of Public Works, that, having in view the need of providing work for the 5-™ , unemployment, the expenditure of ±o(J0 has been authorised to enable a recommencement to be made with the work of willow clearing. Instructions have been issued to the district engineer to put the work in hand. ' The secretary of the Auckland Aero Club has notified the authorities here that the North Island aerial tour, organised by the ciub will include Te Aroha, arriving l here on sct<5 ct< L b SF 2 » and laying for 'Cambridge on the following day.
