OUR COMPETITION CORNER.
An old favourite is presented to competitors this week. They must construct a sentence, each word of which must commence with the last ' two letters of the word preceding it. In awarding prizes the judges will consider not only the length of the sentence, but also the sense of its construction. The following example is the work of the prize-winner in the last competition of a similar nature:—"Must Steven Enniskillen enrol Olive Verron on only Lydia's assurance." Prizes of 7/6, 5/, 4/, 3/ and 2/6.
