BETRAYED BY LIGHT.
INTRUDER IN COTTAGE
IN BED, LISTENING TO RADIO. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) . BLENHEIM, Tuesday. Informed that a light had been observed in a cottage in Queen Charlotte Sound, which cottage had been closed for the winter, Constable Dudley, of Picton, went up the Sound in a launch, and in the cottage discovered a young man lying in bed. He had liquid refreehmenfc close at hand, and with earphones on his head he was enjoying the broadcast from 2YA. The man, Bruce Edwin, aged 18, who has been wanted for three mouths on a eeries of charges concerning thefts from various cottages in the Sounds, was arrested, and he has been remanded.
