Competition was steady, and last week's values were again recorded. Cow and heifer beef also came forward in larger numbers, for whinh competition was also ciood. Lastwork's values again*ruled. Extra choice ox sold to 44/ per 1001b; choice and prime ox. 41/ to 43/; secondary and plain ox, 38/ to 40/; prime young cow and heifer beef. 39/ to 41/; ordinary cow beef, 36/ to 38/.
