MISS E. M. MURRAY.

The death lias taken place of Miss E. M. Murray, who has been infant mistress at Curran Street School, Ponsonby, for some years since it was opened in 1922. Prior to that Miss Murray had a lengthy term of service under the Otago Education Board. She was due to retire on superannuation next year. Her father, Mr. D. Murray, was well known in Otago as headmaster of the North East Valley School, Dunedin. With his wife, Mr. Murray has been living in Auckland since his retirement on superannuation.
