PROPOSED CONFERENCE.

The report of the League of Nations Economic Commission was adopted unanimously to-day by the League Assembly at Geneva. The report proposed that, before the end of this year, the Governments should notify Sir Erie Drummond, Secretary-General of the League, if they are willing to participate in an international economic conference to abolish or reduce all hindrances to international trade, such a conference to be held before the end of January, 1930.
