REFORM LEAGUE.
WAIKATO AND CAMBRIDGE,
A meeting of the executive for the Waikato electorate was held at Morrinsville on Friday, when Mr. Gordon Edwards, organiser for the Auckland division and local delegates, gave short addresses on the recent Dominion Conference. Members expressed appreciation of the good work done, and a motion expressing full confidence in the Reform party and in the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, as leader, was carried with enthusiasm. The meeting further pledged itself to use every endeavour to secure the party's return to power, and expressed the opinion that as the party policy was in the best interests of the farmers and the country generally, every effort should be made to enrol those supporters who were not active members of the Reform League. Reform supporters in Cambridge and the surrounding districts met last Thursday, when matters concerning the party's welfare in the three electorates of Waikato, Rotorua and Raglan; which converge at Cambridge, were discussed. Speakers present expressed, alarm in the present political situation, artd pressed for more extensive and co-ordina-ted effort between the three electorates. An active enrolment campaign was initiated, and another large meeting is to be held shortly, at which speakers from other centres will be present.
