GLEN EDEN TOWN BOARD.
•The Glen Eden, Town Board mot last evening, Mr. W. E. Martin presided.
Recreation Ground.—A request from the Glen' Eden Tennis Club to lease a portion of the recreation ground' was referred to the.board's solicitor for advice. <"
; ' Noxious Weeds.—The noxious w|eeds inspector reported .that 64 notices« had been sent out, but only eight out of those notified had complied with the demands. It was decided that more : drastic; action should be taken.
Unemployment Loan.—lt was decided to call for applications from local unemployed, consideration to be given to the following:—lf ratepayer," length, or. residence, number of dependents, and qualifications. It was also decided to call tenders separately for the supply and delivery of material'for metalling Clayburn Road.
Ckyburn Road Loan.—A rate of 14-64 d was struck far the Claybunn Road unemployment loan.
