CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

WELLINGTON, Monday

The Wellington Cricket Association this evening adopted the English county system of points lor championship club cricket. The points are:—Eight for an outright win ; five for a win on the first innings; three for a loss on the iirst innings; and four for a drawn game, a tie, or where no result has been come to. . , Tbe chairman, Mr. N. F. Luckie, said ho would like to sec this method adopted for Plunkct Shield matches. It was decided that the hours of play should be from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
