RUGBY FOOTBALL.
LAW AND INSURANCE. TWO DRAWN GAMES. Honours were very even when teams representing the Auckland law and insurance offices met at Eden Park yesterday afternoon. In both the senior and junior games the result, was a draw. The. matches were watched by a good attendance of supporters, who were entertained at afternoon tea.
In the junior game each side scored five points. Hook scored and converted for Insurance, while Greig scored and Mcllroy converted for Law. Mr. G. McKay was referee. This match was also drawn last year.
In the senior match each team scored 13 points. For Law, Kingston, Keegan and Milliken scored tries, Skelton and Keegan each converting one. Williams, Noakes and Ralph-Smith scored tries for Insurance, Clark converting two. Mr. L. Guiney was referee. Insurance won last season.
After the games the cups were presented by .Air. 11. Duncan, chairman of the Auckland Fire and Accident Underwriters' Association. 11. D. Gillespie (Law) and M. Noakes (Insurance) were the recipients in the seniors, and L. Paitry (Law) and R. Potter (Insurance) in the juniors. The teams held their annual social evening at the Tiffin dining rooms, Mr. H. Duncan presiding in the .absence of Mr. H. I' rost. Musical items were given by Messrs. S. Pritchard, R. Hooper and T. Sparling. Mr. D. Flood gave humorous sketches.

The following team has been selected by Mr. A. Fleming, the selector for the Thames Rugby Union, to meet the Technical Old Boys' team when they visit Thames next Saturday: B. Harrison. T. YVoolfe. ROBILLIARD HURTS AN ANKLE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday
At Rugby football to-day the Wellington Combined Banks beat the Christehurcta Combined Banks by 22 points to 0. Near the end of the game Robilliard hurt an ankle and had to be carried oft' the ground.
