ADMIRAL DRAKE GOES WELL

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HASTINGS, this day.

There was not a great deal of fast work done on the Hastings tracks this morning. Royal Elm gave a finished display over five hurdles. Tanagra and High Heather went once round in 1.45 J.

Clever and Great Charter did six furlongs in 1.17 4-s—a good gallop. Admiral Drake went once round in 1.43 J. The Guineas candidate is in great order.

Queen's Choice and Zippor went once round in 1.44J, neither being fully extended.

Huikai and Merry Damon did six furlongs in 1.22, and could have clone better. High Court, on the grass, did the best gallop of the morning, registering I<l<> for six furlongs.
