MAORI ADVANCEMENT.
FAR NORTH MOVEMENT. HOSPITAL FEES QUESTION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) KAITAIA, this day. The committee of the Maori Advancement League met in Kaitaia on Satur* day. Mr. Allen , Bell presided and the others were the Rev. Mutu Kapa and Messrs. Eru Ihaka, Haami Puhipi, Muru Waata and Keihana Matiu.
A long discussion took place on the question of native land consolidation and finance. It was resolved to write to the native Minister, inquiring his intentions.
Mr. Era Ihaka said he- did not like to see reflection cast on natives regarding non-payment of hospital fees. It was resolved to write to the Mangonui Hospital Board, inquiring the names of nonpayers and the amounts owing, with a view to assisting in the collection.
