AORANGI IN PORT.
MAHENO DUE TO-MORROW.
There are now eight overseas vessels discharging or loading at Auckland. The Primus arrived on Saturday evening from Bluff to discharge guano from the Seychelles Islands, and she was followed this morning by the Oakbank, with asphalt from Mexico, and the R.M.m.s. Aorangi, with passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney. Also from Sydney, the passenger steamer Maheno is due at Auckland at 11.30 a.m. to-morrow. Of the vessels in port the Aorangi is to sail for Vancouver and the Southern Cross for the New Hebrides to-morrow morning, and the Northumberland for London on Wednesday morning. ARRIVALS.—SATURDAY. THE PORT MELBOURNE. In continuation of her voyage from London, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Melbourne is to sail ior Dunedin at daybreak on Thursday. NORTHUMBERLAND TO SAIL. Now loading at the Central wharf the Federal steamer Northumberland is to be dispatched at daybreak ou Wednesday for London and West of England ports. KAIAPOI COMING. The Union Co.'s steamer Kaiapoi is reported to have cleared Devonport (Tasmania) for Auckland at noon last Saturday. She is due here on Sunday. NIAGARA'S ITINERARY. H-ivin" left Vancouver at noon last Wednesday the Union Co.'s R.M.S. Niagara is due at Auckland, via Honolulu and Suva on Monday, October 7, and is announced to resume her voyage to Sydney at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. DIOMEDE UNCOCKS. H M s. Diomede is to undock to-morrow morning, and will berth at Devonport until Friday when she will shift to the Central wharf, to remain there until her departure for England on October 1. AORANGI IN PORT. En route from Sydney to Vancouver, the Union Co.'s R.M.m.s. Aorangi arrived at Auckland this morning and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail for \ancouver, via Suva and Honolulu, at 11 a.m. to-morrow. THE SOUTHERN CROSS. The departure of the Melanesian Mission vacht Southern Cross, for the New Hebrides, "has been postponed to 11 a.m. to-morrow. She will probably be away about four months. TOFUA RETURNING. On her return voyage to Auckland, the Union Co.'s passenger steamer 'lofua lett ■Vpia for Suva at 0 p.m. last Friday, bhe is scheduled to clear Suva at noon next Thursday, arriving at Auckland the following Monday morning. THE MAUI POMARE. Spedding, Ltd., announce the Government motor ship Maui Pomare to sail at 6 p m to-morrow, with passengers, mails ana cargo for Niue and Samoa. From Samoa she is to return to Auckland via Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. TAMAROA TO DISCHARGE. Leaving Wellington this afternoon, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tamaroa is due at Auckland on Wednesday morning, and will berth at the Prince's wharf to complete discharge of her general cargo from London to the agency of A. S. Paterson, Ltd. MANUKA'S MOVEMENTS. The Union Co.'s passenger steamer Manuka arrived at Wellington from Melbourne yesterday morning, and is to sail for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff at 3 p.m. to-morrow. She is scheduled to clear Bluff for Melbourne on September 28.. PRUNUS DISCHARGING. Arriving from Bluff on Saturday evening, the steamer Pruiius (Captain W. Ruthen) berthed at the King's wharf to complete discharge of her cargo of guano from the Seychelles Islands. From here she is to go to'Whyalla to load iron ore for Antwerp. (A. S. Paterson, Ltd., agents.) HOMEWARD LOADINGS. Now discharging at Bluff, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Rotorua is to load for London at Dunedin. Timaru, Lyttelton, Auckland and Wellington. She is scheduled to load at Auckland from October 8 to October 12, and to sail 'finally for London from Wellington on November 19. Due at Auckland from London on October 4, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Remuera is to discharge here and at Wellington and New Plymouth. At the lastnamed port she will commence Homeward loading, completing at Lyttelton, Auckland, Wellington and Napier. She loads at Auckland from October 28 to November 2, and sails finally for London, from Napier on November 9. OAKBANK ARRIVED. To the agency of Spedding, Ltd., the Weir Line motor ship Oakbank (Captain J. J. Tulloch) arrived at Auckland from Tampieo this morning, and berthed at the Western wharf to discharge the local portion of her cargo of asphalt. After loading 6300 tons of asphalt, the Oakbaak left Tampieo on August 21, and she passed through the Panama Canal six days later. Fine weather prevailed until last Friday, when the vessel encountered a moderate south-east gale. Several heavy seas broke aboard, smashing the awning spars and doing other minor damage. The Oakbank is discharging 1800 tons of her cargo here, and is to sail on Wednesday for Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Wanganui and New Plymouth to put out the remainder. * UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. The Waimea arrived from Gisborne and Napier this morning, and berthed at the King's wharf. She is to sail again at 4 p.m. to-morrow. *>' The Kaituna, en route from Greymouth, is expected to clear New Plymouth for Auckland at 3.30 p.m. to-day. After discharge here she is to return to Greymouth to load again for Auckland. The Kaitansrata left Portland at 5 a.m. yesterday for Westport and Greymouth. The Kurow loads at Bluff about Friday next for Auckland via Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Katoa is due at Westport about Thursday next to load for Auckland. The Kaikorai arrived yesterday from Westport via New Plymouth, and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail again on Wednesday for Westport to load for Wellington. The Wingatui is scheduled to leave Dunedin to-morrow afternoon for Auckland via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Waipiata is to sail at u p.m. tomorrow for Wellington and Dunedin.
