Lucky Shot.—Report dated the 21st instant:—The second stope above No. 2 winze has been carried along another 20ft for the week, making a total of 40ft, and the average width of the reef is 12in, showing gold for the face length of the stope. The reef has now made a junction with the hangingwall reef, and appears to be a large body of ore for the full width of the stop'- showing a high percentage of antimony and silica. The intermediate levrl has? been extended 10ft on the reef which is 12in wide. No gold has been seen during this week, but the ore looks well, and is heavily mineralised.
