J|| RANQITAIKI. Up" • INCREASED OUTPUT. \ (From Our Own Correspondent.) WHAKATANE, Saturday. In spite of the weather being very cold and drj'> making the spring growth very backward, a substantial increase is shown in the output of butter from the Eangitaiki Dairy Company's factory. Warm rains with an absence of frost would be welcomed by the farmers. For the month of July 58,4941b of butterfat was produced and £3898 16/ was advanced to suppliers, while for the month of August 174,7201b was produced, the advance to suppliers totalling £11,638 6/. For the two months the total production was 233,2141b of butterfat, and the payout totalled £15,535 2/. For the corresponding months of last year the production was 219,2391b of butterfat and the payout £13,817, showing an increase of 13,9751b of butterfat for July and August of this year and an increase of £1718 2/ in the advances to suppliers. In July and August of 1927 138,5351b of butterfat was produced at the factory for July and August, compared with 233,2141b produced for the corresponding months of this year.
