The North Shore Club flew their yearling championship from Palmerston North, an airline distance of 200 miles. The birds were liberated by Mr. o'F.hen, stalionmaster, at 7.30 a.m. Mr. A. Gilbert supplied the winner with his mealy cock Bon Accord, which landed to its loft at 12 l noon, credited with a velocity of 1086 yards per minute.
