BENNETT MEMORIAL CUP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Bennett Memorial Cup race for harriers over seven miles was won by A. L. .Stevens (Scottish) for tlie third successive time, in 3am 35£s. J. Silver (Scottish) was second in S.">m 395. The Brooklyn Club won the shield teams race in A and B grades.
KING'S COLLEGE STEEPLES
Pupil?i of King's College, Middlemore, will hold their annual six miles steeplechase on Wednesday afternoon next. Many of the competitors have been training hard for the event, and a keen contest is anticipated. The rim will start and finish at the college.
