management committee. SOUTH SYDNEY VISIT. USE OF CARLAW PARK. The Auckland Rugby League met Inst evening, Mr. George "diodes presiding. The = Hurftly Club wrote expressing appreciation of the visit of Devonport, and urging that the Marist and Ponsonby teams "should travel there before the season expired. Mr. T. O'Brien, Devonport delegate, reported upon the trip to Huntly, and Mr. Gregory, Marist delegate, said his club had favourably considered the suggestion. A deputation of officers and the secretary (Mr. C. E. Collins) of the New Zealanders' Association explained the needs and objects of the association, and asked the ; support of the League. The committee decided to consider the matter. In response to representations made hy a deputation of Messrs. Doble and Stalhvorthy, members of the New Zealand Council, it was decided to grant the council the use of Carlaw Park in Ovtobcr for matches against South Sydney, and to charge 10 per cent of the net profits for the hire of the ground.
