ALONE IN THE HOUSE.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CARTERTON", this day. Mrs. Albert Hooker, aged 60, was seriously burned this morning through her clothes catching fire while she was washing. The flesh of one arm was almost completely destroyed, and her legs and body were also shockingly burned. She was alone in the house at the time, but managed to put the flames out. She was removed in a serious condition to the Mastertgn Hospital for treatment.
