NEW YORK, October 8,
"We make war on no nation but we should be ready and able to fill with subsequent regret anyone attacking us," said Brisbane Hearst in an editorial congratulating the Government on placing an order for two dirigibles.
They will be by far the world's largest. Each will carry five 'planes that will be used for scouting purposes.
The editorial adds that a fleet of such dirigibles, each carrying 50 tons of explosives Arid modern war gas, would be able to unleash 100 fast, destructive 'planes which would leave, with Uncle Sam's compliments, a visiting card in Europe or Asia that would not soon be forgotten.
