FIRE AT OTAHUHU.

DWELLING SEVERELY DAMAGED.

A five-roomed dwelling in Albert Street, Otahuhu, owned and occupied by Mr. Chas. Jpmieson, sustained serious damage by fire at about nine o'clock last evening. The flames had a strong hold when the Otahuhu brigade arrived. The fire is thought to have started in the ceiling of the kitchen. The insurances are held by the Government under the discharged soldiers' settlement scheme.
