TASMAN FLIGHT.
WORSE WEATHER FORECAST.
MOST UNFAVOURABLE REPORT
AERODROME SWEPT BY GALE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) BLENHEIM, this day. There is no possibility of favourable weather conditions for the Tasman flight occurring for at least three days, and probably not for a week. This report by Dr. Xidson last night was regarded as one of the most unfavourable the airmen have yet received. Owing to the heavy gale which raged yesterday, there was some anxiety for the safety of the planes in the hangar, but it survived the test admirably. Arrangements have been made to house the two Bristol fighters in the Marlborough Aero Club's hangar on the permanent aerodrome, this building having been rushed to completion for that purpose. Mr. F. D. Mill's Moth will also be housed there.
