MOUNT EDEN HOLD-UP.
AND THEFT OF CAR.
ACCUSED AGAIN APPEAR.
REMANDED UNTIL TUESDAY NEXT,
The three men arrested recently at Te Kuiti on charges of stealing an Essex coach belonging to Bert Shorter, two of whom are alleged to have been implicated in the hold-up in Mount Eden last Friday week, Norman Travers (22), a seaman, Joseph Henry Trask (48), a carter, and Roy Edward Trask (22), a plasterer, again appeared at the Police Court this morning when they were further remanded until Tuesday next. Travers and Roy Edward Trask were charged with robbing Mr. and Mrs. Pearce of a handbag containing £6, four keys and papers, using personal violence. All the accused are still in custody.
