DECREASE IN AUCKLAND. THE WEEKLY FIGURES. With the advent of brighter weather the condition of the labour market in Auckland has improved appreciably. The Government Labour Bureau reported this morning that there were only 814 men seeking engagement through this medium as compared with 856 men week. Of the former number 685 men are capable of doing heavy work, and the remainder < are- suitable for light labour. During the week the Labour Department succeeded in placing 65 men in positions.
