BAZAAR AND SALE OF WORK. ' A bazaar and sale of work in connection with the Otahuhu Methodist Church was held in the Public Hall on Friday night. It was opened by Mrs. J. W. Court, of Northcote. Several cookery competitione were held, the judges being Mrs. Gardiner and Mr. J. Gardiner. The results were: —Fruit Cake: Mies J. Wallace, 1; Mrs. Redshaw, 2; Madeira cake: Miss Keatley,l ;jam sandwich: Mrs. Johnstone, 1; Mrs. Cratini, 2; decorated sponge: Mrs. Hunter; chocolate sponge: Mrs. Hosking; short bread: Mrs. Hosking; jam roll: Mrs. W. Taylor; queen cakes: Miss Fothergill; puff pastry: Miss J. Wallace; scones: Mrs. Anderson; gems: Miss Keatley; pikelets: Mrs. Anderson. Children's Classes: Phamey McArthur, 1; Meryl Hall, 2. The stallholders were:—Work: Me» dames, Sheppard, Clements, Nieholls, Redshaw, Taylor, Weaver; sweets: Misses Sheppard, Johnson, Mrs. Stringer; cakes: Mis 3 Wallace, Mesdames Hunter and Unsworth; tea rooms: Mesdames Greenwood, Fothergill, W. Fothergill, Waite, Handyside, Logan and Miss Bilkey; flowers: Mesdames Len Nieholls and Hall; choir: Mesdames Christini and Clark and Misses Fothergill and Trenwith; produce: Mesdames Muir. Ogilvie, Johnson, Collins, Trenwith; Sunday school stall: Mesdames Cantwell and McArthur.
