DARGAVILLE NEWS.

The manager of the Municipal Gasworks. Mr. 6. Marriott, has tendered his resignation after seven and a-half years' service with the borough. The resignation has been accepted, and applications are being called for the position. Major A. Greene, M.C., resident secretary, Salvation Army Immigration Department, Wellington, arrived by this : morning's express, and goes on to Piitaruru to-day in connection with Lord ! Lovat's visit.
