LAWYERS' INSURANCE BILL.
PROTECTING THE PUBLIC. NO HOPE THIS SESSION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. It is understood that the bill, promoted by the New Zealand Law Society, with the object of founding an insurance scheme to protect the public against dishonest practitioners, will not be passed this session. The bill is among the measures lost sight of in the end-of-session rush.
