SETTLED OUT OF COURT.

The compensation claim of Oscar Porola (Mr. J. J. Sullivan) against Sir W. G. Armstrong, Wliitworth and Co., Ltd. (Mr. West), was settled out of Court. When the Arbitration Court resumed yesterday afternoon Mr. Sullivan announced that an agreement had been reached whereby Porola was to receive £5!) 10/ compensation and £10 10/ medical expenses and costs.

Tlie claimant was injured internally last November while pushing a truck on the dam construction work at Arapuni.
