At the present time * thief is at at work whose procedure is to visit houses in daylight and break into those which he finds to be temporarily unoccupied. Several cases have been reported to the police where money and articles of small value have been stolen, i Yesterday, between 2 and 5 p.m., the dwelling of George Darroch Pulham, Bellwood Avenue, was entered by a prowler, who secured the sum of £6 in money. Suburban residents would be well advised not to leave money or jewellery in their houses when they are absent.
