WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.
GUARANTORS TO BE FREED.
PROGRESS IN NINETEEN YEARS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. ' Favourable comment on the position of the Waikato Winter Show Association was made at the annual meeting to-day by the president, Mr. A. K. Alexander. He said the year had been very successful and it was now possible to release the guarantors, who for years had stood behind the show. Last year's balance-sheet was highly gratifying and the debit had been turned into a substantial credit. Mr. Alexander quoted figures to show that the assets of the association had grown in nineteen years from £400 to £12,000, and the number of entries from 1173 to 13,816. Mr. A. K. Alexander was re-elected president.
