NEW COUNCIL.
Now that Christian Endeavour lias gained such a notable position amongst the churches' young people, thev seem determined to go forward and to accomplish st-ill greater things. This was the tone of the reports given* by the delegates at the monthly council meeting of the C.E. Union, held at Beresford Street Congregational Church. The council met for the first time in their new year. The president, Mr. G Deiiseni, opened proceedings with words of welcome to the delegates, manv of whom were present for the first time He also introduced the new officers, who were to be his co-workers duriii" th« next 12 months. ° '
Committee leaders 'ur the next I*> months were next elected, as follows:— Senior superintendent, Mr. H B Bris tow (re-elected); junior superintendent] Miss S. Welch: tenth legion, Rev. A S Wilson; quiet hour, Mr. H. B. Bristow]
