REHEARING GRANTED.

RUSSELL TO BE TRIED AGAOV RELEASED FROM PRISON. James Russell (26), who, together with his twin brother, William Thomas Russell. was sentenced to three months' imprisonment on Saturday last for converting a motor car to their own use, ia to have his case reviewed. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., stated at the Police Court to-day that he had considered Mr. Allan Moody's application for a rehearing on the grounds that new and substantial evidence had been discovered and had decided to grant a rail earing. This was fixed for Monday morning next, when the whole case will be again heard. Russell, who was brought down from prison this morning, was immediately released on bail of £25.
