ULIMAROA SAILS TO-MORROW.

There were no arrivals from or departures for overseas ports to-day. The Port Dunedin sailed last night for New Plymouth and Wellington, while the departure this afternoon of the Golden State and Vestvard for southern ports will further reduce the tonnage in port. The Ulimaroa is announced to sail for Sydney to-morrow morning, and the Waipahi for Suva in the afternoon.. A late radio from the Maui Pomare states that she cxpecta to arrive from Norfolk Island on Friday evening.

UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. The Waijnea arrived at Gisborne at 2.30 a.m. to-day, and is to leave thero at 9 p.in. to-morrow for Napier and Auckland. The Kalmanawa arrived shortly after midnight from Westport, via Wellington, and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She later shifted to the Western wharf to complete discharge, and is announced to sail at 11 p.m. to-day for Westport. The Kurow left Wellington at 0 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, and on arrival will bertb at the Prince's wharf. The Balls Head loads at Greymouth towards the end of the week for Auckland. The Katoa is now loading timber at Port Craig for Wellington and Auckland, and will complete at Bluff and Dunedin. After discharge of her Wellington timber, she is to return to Lyttelton to fill up with general cargo before coming to Auckland. The Kaiwarra arrived from Westport this afternoon and berthed at the Western wharf.
WAIKAWA SAILS 5 P.M. In continuation of her voyage from Los Angeles, the Union Co.'s steamer Waikawa is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Nelson, Bluff. Melbourne and Sydney. WAIPAHI FOR SUVA. Replacing the Tofua. which is laid up for overhaul, the Union Co.'s steamer Waipahi is to be dispatched for Suva at 3 p.m. tomorrow to load for Auckland. ULIMAROA FOR SYDNEY. Taking passengers, mails and cargo for Sydney, the Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa is to sail for Sydney at 11 a.m. tomorrow. She is due at Sydney next Tuesday, and leaves there the following Friday for Wellington. THE WAIBUNA. The local office of the Uniop Co. advises that the trans-Pacific cargo Steamer Wairuna is to leave Dunedin on Saturday for New Plymouth to complete discharge. Thence she is to return to Auckland to load for Vancouver, via Apia and Fanning Island. VESTVARD SAILS TO-DAY. It is hoped to dispatch the Norwegian steamer Vestvard for Napier and Wellington at 5 p.m. t"-day, to continue unloading of her cargo of case oil from Port Arthur, Texas. THE CANADIAN BRITISHEK. En route from Auckland with New Zea- »» i P r °duce for New York, Boston and Montreal, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Britisher is reported to have arrived at Panama on Tuesday. She left Auckland on September 3. PORT DUNEDIN SAILED. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Dnnedin left last night for New Plymouth aud Wellington to fill up with New Zealand produce for London. She Is due at Wellington next Tuesday and is to sail , for London the following Saturday. MARAMA AND MAHENO. Bringing passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland and Wellington respectively, the Union Co.'s steamers Marama and Maheno are to leave Sydney to-morrow. Both vessels are due at their respective ports next Tuesday, and leave again for Sydney the following Friday. ■ MAUI POMARE REPORTS. Spedding, Ltd., have received a radio from the Government motor ship Maui romare stating that she expects to arrive at _ Auckland from Norfolk Island late on> - ev e>»ing. She has 20 passeagers and 916 packages of island produce. GOLDEN STATE TO SAIL. To put out the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo, and to fill up for the return voyage, the O. and O. Line steamer Golden Statp is to sail at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington and Dunedin. She is scheduled to clear Dunedin on October 8 for San Francisco, via Honolulu.
NIAGARA REPORTED. En route from Vancouver, the Union Co.'s R.M.s. Niagara reports that ahe will arrive at Suva at 5 a.m. to-morrow. She expects to leave there again at ll a.m. for Auckland where she is due on Monday morning. After landing local passengers, mails and cargo, she is to resume her voyage to Sydney at 11 p.m. the same day. OMANA RETURNING. To complete discnarge of her cargo of coal and hardwood from Newcastle and Port Stephens, the Lamb steamer Omana is to return to Auckland on Saturday morning from Gisborne and Napier, and has been allotted a berth at the Central wharf. After discharge, she will load timber here for Australian ports. (Northern S.S. Co., agents.) IMPROVEMENTS TO MATAROA. The master of the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mataroa, en route from London to Wellington, has reported to the London office that readjustments in the vessel's engines have given her a speed of 14J knots, and that he expected to reach Wellington three days ahead of schedule. The Mataroa left London on September 27 and was due at Wellington on November 4. (A.P.A.— U.S.) W.C.U.K. LOADINGS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal Line steamer Somerset is scheduled to clear Liverpool on October 13 with cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on November 20. Also with cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain, the following vessels are to be dispatched from Liverpool:— .
