AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

Shares in the Pukemiro Collieries were bought yesterday afternoon and again to-day at £3 10/. This, of course, is ex dividend. Sales were made yesterday afternoon of Checker Taxi paid shares, at 7/6, and of National Timber at 9/6. Business was also done in Taranaki Oilfields shares at 7/6 and 7/3. Further transactions also took place in Waihi shares at 13/11. New Zealand Bank Bhares had transactions at the third call yesterday at £3 1/3, and the same price was again paid to-day. Bank of Australasia shares are now wanted at £15 2/6, with no quoted sellers. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency ordinary , stock had another advance to-day, buyers offering £115 at the noon call. Union Oil and Candle shares sold this morning at £2 3/, and for New Zealand Refrigerating 18/11 was paid. Business was also done in Auckland Gas paid issue at £1 3/1.
