WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
LOCKIE—GALLOT.
St. Matthew's Church was chosen for the wedding last evening of Ethel Maud, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gallot, of Ponsonby, when she became the wife of Mr. Harold Ernest Joseph Lockie, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lockie, bf Grafton. The Rev. Thomas officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, .wore a frock of ivory crepe fleuri, the bodice and skirt having fine pin tucks. A silver spray of roses was worn at the shoulder and waist line. The tulle veil was embroidered and 1 held in place by a coronet of silver lace and orange blossoms. Th© bride carried a lovely shower bouquet of white and pink flowers, with a silver surround. The bridesmaid, Miss Eileen Gallot, wore a duchess blue georgette full skirt, tight bodice and small posies of worked French flowers. A tulle headdress and shower bouquet matched her frock. Two little nieces of the bride, Eileen Corcoran and Miriam Gallot, wore dresses made alike in mauve and apricot georgette, with frills edged with lace to the waists and silver rosettes, tulle and silver headdresses and small Victorian posy bouquets. The best man was Mr. Cecil Lockie. A Wedding supper was served at Nairn's reception rooms, the tables being decorated in pink, white and silver wedding bell. Mrs. Gallot received the guests-in an almond green crepe de chine, with lace, black georgette and satin hat. The bridegroom's mother was in bois de rose repp and grey hat.
