STILL WAITING.

THE TASMAN AIRMEN.

CANNOT START TO-MORROW.

STORM RAGING AT SEA. CONDITIONS MAY IMPROVE SOON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. When the Southern Cress airmen telephoned Dr. Kidson at 12.30 p.m., he gave the following reply: "Conditions are still stormy in the Tasman, with strong north to northwest winds. No start will be possible to-morrow. I cannot judge of the further possibilities until the remainder of the Australian reports are received, but yesterday's reports were not unfavourable to the development of fair conditions in a few days." Dr. Kidson says there is an intense depression covering the Tasman. Disturbed conditions are indicated by a wireless report from the steamer Waiotaju at nine a.m.
