The work is under the supervision of the Reserves Committee of the Onehunga Borough Council, with Mr. R. G. Speight as chairman. There will be fresh gangs of unemployed returned soldiers put. on each fortnight until the work is completed. This method has been adopted to give employment to as many men as possible.
