PIGEON SHOOTING.

THE NEW LYNN CLUB.

Members of the New Lynn Gun Club held a shoot for the Lomag trophy at the clnb grounds. New Lynn, on Saturday. A. Thompson (12 yards) and A. Macredie (19 yards). tied with 14 birds each. In the shoot-off Macredie won.

A seven-birds match was also held in competition for the Murrell Cup. E. Wilson (15 yards). shot the possible. ff. Turner (15 yards). F. Hazard (15 yards), A. Macredie (19 yards) and A. E. Severn (12 yards) all tied for second place with six each.

The attendance was good and the weather conditions ideal. The nest shoot takes place on October 13.
